📌 Key Responsibilities
- Scan inbound consignments at the hub using barcode scanners and verify scan count against the manifest for each incoming bag or vehicle
- Sort parcels zone-wise and beat-wise into designated bins or bags for assignment to delivery executives each morning
- Load sorted bags and parcels onto delivery vehicles in the correct sequence to minimize unloading time at delivery points
- Handle outbound consignments arriving from delivery executives in the evening including undelivered returns and COD pouch handover
- Check for damaged or tamper-evident parcels and flag them to the hub in-charge for documentation and escalation
- Maintain hub cleanliness, stacking discipline, and zone labelling to ensure smooth parcel flow during peak inbound and outbound hours
- Assist the hub in-charge with physical stock counts, bag sealing, and consignment handover documentation at the end of each shift
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- 12th pass from a recognized board; Graduate candidates are also welcome
- 0 - 2 Years of experience in warehouse sorting, courier hub operations, or any physical operations role; freshers are welcome
- Physical fitness to stand for extended shift hours, lift parcels, and perform repetitive sorting tasks at volume
- Basic literacy for reading barcode labels, zone codes, and consignment numbers on parcels
- Familiarity with barcode scanners or willingness to learn; training is provided on the job
- Ability to work early morning or late evening shifts as courier hub operations run on a split-shift schedule
- Good team discipline and willingness to adhere to hub SOP timelines for scanning, sorting, and dispatch
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
