📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of a travel agency branch including ticketing, visa, tour coordination, and hotel booking teams.
• Monitor booking workflows, quality checks, and processing timelines to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Handle escalated customer complaints, booking errors, and service recovery situations at a supervisory level.
• Coordinate with airlines, visa centres, hotels, and ground operators to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports on booking volumes, revenue, team productivity, and complaint resolution.
• Train new operations staff on agency processes, GDS usage, documentation standards, and customer handling.
• Implement and enforce branch SOPs for ticketing, visa processing, package coordination, and documentation.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline or Diploma in Tourism from a recognised travel and tourism institute.
• 2 to 6 years of travel agency operations experience with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Broad understanding of travel agency functions including ticketing, visa processing, tour coordination, and hotel booking.
• Experience supervising a small operations team with responsibility for quality checks and process compliance.
• Good problem-solving skills for handling customer complaints, booking errors, and vendor escalations.
• Proficiency in GDS platforms, travel booking tools, and Microsoft Office for operations reporting.
• Strong Tamil and English communication skills for managing operations staff and handling customer escalations.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
