📌 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the engineering organization for a fintech platform covering payments, lending, or wealth technology products
- Define the technical architecture strategy for scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the fintech platform
- Recruit, mentor, and retain senior engineering talent and build a high-performance engineering culture
- Own platform uptime, incident response, and engineering SLAs for payment-critical or lending-critical systems
- Partner with the CPO and CEO to translate business strategy into engineering roadmaps and delivery plans
- Drive engineering decisions around technology stack evolution, build-versus-buy choices, and vendor selection
- Represent the engineering function to the board, investors, and regulators in technical due diligence and audit scenarios
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related field, optionally with MBA from a reputed institution
- 10 - 20 Years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in a senior engineering leadership role
- Deep technical expertise in fintech platform engineering including payment systems, lending infrastructure, or wealth technology
- Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams of 30 or more engineers in a product company
- Strong understanding of regulatory technology requirements including PCI DSS, RBI IT guidelines, and ISO 27001
- Experience with cloud-native architecture on AWS or Azure at scale for financial transaction systems
- Excellent communication skills for presenting engineering strategy to non-technical boards and investors
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
