📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the academic operations or overall operations function of the EdTech company, overseeing content production, student success, academic counseling, and quality assurance at scale.
• Own the academic or operational P and L, setting budgets, managing costs, and driving revenue contribution from content-led and operations-driven business metrics.
• Define the company's long-term academic strategy including subject expansion, examination coverage, learner outcome commitments, and curriculum innovation priorities.
• Build and lead a senior operations or academic leadership team, establishing a culture of accountability, learner-centricity, and continuous improvement.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships with content production agencies, academic consultants, examination bodies, and platform technology partners.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between content, technology, marketing, and sales teams to deliver a seamless learner experience at the company's operating scale.
• Represent operations and academic strategy to the board, investors, and external partners, communicating business performance and strategic direction with clarity.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a reputed institution or M.Ed. with twelve to twenty-two years of progressively senior experience in EdTech, education management, or online learning operations.
• Demonstrated track record of building and scaling EdTech academic or operations functions serving large learner bases across multiple subject verticals.
• Strong P and L management experience including budget ownership, cost control, revenue accountability, and operations KPI governance.
• Experience leading large, multi-function teams of one hundred or more professionals across content, student success, counseling, and platform operations.
• Strategic thinking ability to define academic roadmap priorities, competitive differentiation, and learner outcome investment decisions at the executive level.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills including investor and board communication, partner negotiation, and cross-functional leadership team alignment.
• Track record of hiring and developing senior academic and operations leaders and building organisational capability for sustained scale in a private EdTech environment.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
