📌 Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbines including gearbox lubrication, bearing inspection, generator checks, and blade surface inspection
- Monitor wind turbine SCADA alarms and fault codes and respond to high-priority faults that require on-site intervention
- Carry out corrective maintenance activities including sensor replacement, brake pad inspection, and yaw system servicing
- Conduct blade inspection from hub height using standard visual inspection procedures and report cracks or delamination
- Maintain lubrication schedules for main bearings, yaw bearings, pitch bearings, and gearbox oil change intervals
- Follow work permit and lockout-tagout procedures for all maintenance activities involving high-voltage electrical systems within the turbine nacelle
- Record all maintenance activities in the CMMS and update fault logs and service reports after each site visit
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Describe the preventive maintenance routine you follow for a 2 MW wind turbine and list the key components you inspect at each visit
- How do you respond to a high vibration alarm on a wind turbine SCADA system and what checks do you perform on site?
- What safety procedures do you follow before entering a wind turbine nacelle for electrical maintenance?
- How do you carry out a gearbox oil level check and oil change on a wind turbine?
- What is lockout-tagout and how do you apply it when working on the wind turbine's HV electrical system?
- Describe the visual inspection criteria for identifying blade surface damage during a ground-level inspection
- How do you maintain the lubrication schedule for a wind turbine with multiple bearing types and different service intervals?
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

B.E. Electrical or Mechanical for solar project engineer and design engineer roles; Diploma Electrical for solar installation technician and O and M technician roles; ITI Electrician for solar rooftop installation and maintenance roles; MNRE solar installer certification preferred for rooftop solar technician roles; AutoCAD and PVSyst for solar design engineer roles; MBA or Graduate for solar sales and business development roles; PGDM Energy Management from TERI or IGNOU for renewable energy management roles; knowledge of net metering regulations and TANGEDCO grid connectivity norms for sales and project roles in Tamil Nadu; basic electrical safety certification for all site roles
